BeachBody PiYO live, Insanity, P90x help
I discovered Beachbody after falling in love with PiYo live at a local gym. I later became certified to teach it so I could spread the PiYo love as I feel it is one of the most effective workouts. I decided to become a beachbody coach for my own personal reasons, I wanted the 25% off discount on other workout programs I could do at home and a discount on shakeology (powered gold!) I absolutely love Leandro in the Brazilian Butt lift videos, and the pencil test, what is that you ask, simply take a pencil and place it in the crease where your butt meets the top of the back of your thigh. Let’s not forget about the amazing Shaun T with his high energy Hip hop abs video… I mean who doesn’t want to have fun and dance while burning calories and sculpting rock hard abs! Speaking of Shaun T… um insanity… it’s INSANE… but have you seen the insanity results! Modify if you need to but follow the insanity workout calendar and you will build up that endurance and soon be able to power through the entire workout! Short on time, join Shaun T with the quick but highly effective T25 series…. it just takes 25 mins a day to sculpt and tone!
P90x workout schedules
Moving on to another favorite of mine is with the amazing Tony Horton creator of p90x, as with all the programs make sure to follow the p90x workout schedule, it is deigned and proven to work when followed, don’t skip days such as yoga because you think they aren’t important. ALL the days are equally important, TRUST THE PROGRAMS! If you are short on time and love p90x you might want to check out p90x3, its gets the most done in the shortest amount of time and offers some great modifications!
ALWAYS complete the warm up and cool downs, these are very important, feel free to add on and do your own extra stretching, I always do some extra lower back stretches as I have carried babies in the best double strollers who have turned into toddlers and that takes a toll on my body. What is my favorite for lower back pain stretches and tips… just good old yoga stretches and twists! I try to add in a good 15 mins of extra stretching before bedtime… and it helps relax me which makes for a better night’s sleep!

Healthy Horchata Shakeology Recipe
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or rice milk)
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology
- 2 Tbsp. sliced raw almonds
- ¼ tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 cup ice
1. Place almond milk, extract, Shakeology, almonds, cinnamon, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.ENJOY
